PIPER KERMAN

Piper Kerman, tras graduarse por el Smith College, se embarcó en una relación sentimental con una traficante de droga para la que acabó colaborando. Tras más de un año en prisión narró su experiencia en este libro, que además de ser un gran éxito, fue la inspiración de la serie homónima. Actualmente, trabaja como consultora de comunicación para Spitfire Strategies, que asesora a ONG y fundaciones filantrópicas dedicadas a apoyar a mujeres reclusas.
